Experienced Leadership

The Crown Reserve management team has a solid track record of managing, developing and selling commercial properties for private and institutional investors. Crown Reserve’s senior management team also has extensive expertise across multiple real estate cycles, with experience in acquiring, maintaining, leasing and operating commercial properties, as well as selling these properties when return objectives have been achieved.

Over the past two decades, members of the Crown Reserve management team have purchased and managed dozens of commercial properties representing millions of square feet throughout Florida and the United States. Since 2003, Crown Reserve’s principal owner has purchased four commercial office buildings in the South Florida area, including the Brandywine Centre II office in West Palm Beach, Florida. The Palm Beach Post has described Brandywine Centre II as "one of West Palm Beach's most successful office properties." Tenants include "A" list companies including Prudential, leading law firms, medical, media, a national foundation and other professionals.

Other properties purchased have included the Reflections office building in Boca Raton, Florida and the Wellington Corporate Center in Wellington, Florida.

Christopher Ruddy, CEO, founded Crown Reserve, LLC in 2008 and is also the President and CEO of Newsmax Media, Inc, a company he founded in 1998. Since then, Mr. Ruddy has raised more than $40 million in private equity to develop several business enterprises. Newsmax Media publishes Newsmax.com, one of the nation's leading online news sites, as well as other publications in the health and financial field. Mr. Ruddy serves on the Board of Directors of the Financial Publisher's Association, an industry group representing many of the nation's leading financial newsletter companies.

Over the past five years, Mr. Ruddy also organized and managed several real estate limited liability companies, including the Wellington Property Group, LLC (WPG), a real estate private equity fund that purchased the 44,831 rentable square foot Wellington Corporate Center in Florida in September 2007 for approximately $11.5 million; the Boca Raton Property Group, LLC (BRPG), which purchased the 35,810 rentable square foot Reflections in the Park office building in Boca Raton, Florida in February 2007 for approximately $9.3 million; and the Palm Beach Property Group, LLC (PBPG), which purchased the 61,900 rentable square foot Brandywine Centre II office building in West Palm Beach, Florida in 2003 for approximately $8.5 million.

Mr. Ruddy holds a Master's Degree from the London School of Economics and is a summa cum laude graduate of St. John's University in New York.

Anthony Grogan, CFO, has served as a top-tier business advisor and corporate executive in all phases of real estate development, purchase and management over the past decade. Mr. Grogan has more than ten years of real estate experience with Flagler System, Inc., the owner of the Breakers Hotel and other properties, where he served as a corporate controller. During his tenure, the company generated $75 -$100 million in annual sales.

At Flagler Systems, Mr. Grogan oversaw a major, luxury residential real estate development (Breakers West), an ocean-front luxury condominium development, a shopping center, a computer software company, property owners associations, and extensive computerized financial systems. Currently, Mr. Grogan is president of Enterprise Advisors, a business planning, franchising and finance consulting practice that assists emerging and established businesses with strategic marketing, financing, real estate and franchising endeavors. A former Coopers & Lybrand Certified Public Accountant, Mr. Grogan holds an MBA degree from Florida Atlantic University.
